How you set it up
1. Pick a socket you can spare — a porch light, a hallway lamp, one side of a double fixture.
2. Switch the light off at the wall, take the bulb out, screw the camera in.
3. Turn the switch back on and leave it on. That switch is the camera’s power now.
4. Install the free app and connect it to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
5. Slot in a microSD card if you want recordings kept.
6. Drag the view around in the app to set where it looks by default.

Do I need an electrician? +
No. If you can change a light bulb you can install this. It threads into any standard E27 socket and powers itself from there. Most people are watching the live view in under five minutes, app included.
Does the light still work in that socket? +
No, and this is the thing to think about before you order. The camera goes where the bulb went, so that socket stops being a light. Pick one you can spare — a spare porch fixture, one side of a double fixture, a hallway lamp you never switch on. And leave the wall switch on, because that switch is the camera’s power.
Is there a monthly fee? +
None. It records to a microSD card of up to 128GB that stays in your hands, and the app is free. You buy the camera once and that is where the spending stops. The card is sold separately — any 32 to 128GB card works.
Will it work outside? +
In a covered fixture, yes — a porch light, a carport, a garage entrance. It is not weatherproof, so it cannot take direct rain. Check that your Wi-Fi actually reaches that spot before you screw it in.
My router is 5 GHz. Will it connect? +
It needs a 2.4 GHz network. Almost every router broadcasts both, but some newer ones merge the two into one name and hand out 5 GHz by default. If it will not pair, split the bands in your router settings or turn 5 GHz off for a minute while you connect it.
How long does shipping take, and will I be charged anything on delivery? +
