How you install it
1. Wipe the plastic where the strips will sit. Adhesive does not stick to dust.
2. Lay the four strips out first without peeling anything, so you can see where the cable runs.

Do I have to cut into my car’s wiring? +

Will the adhesive hold in summer heat? +
On a clean, dry, hard plastic surface it holds. Where it fails is dusty trim and textured rubber. Wipe the area with rubbing alcohol first and press each strip down for a full ten seconds — that one step is the difference between a strip that stays for years and one that drops in August.
Is it legal to drive with these on? +
Interior accent lighting is generally fine, but several states restrict red and blue light that is visible from outside the vehicle, because those colors are reserved for emergency vehicles.
